It’s 12:30 p.m. and after leaving your class that has drudged on, you’re finally able to get some food into your grumbling stomach.
Standing in front of the cash registers, it takes what seems like an hour to get through the line. When you’re finally in the food court students, staff and faculty dart in and out of food stations, hindering your ability to get your meal in a timely fashion.
Needless to say, if you have a meal plan and attend Commons on a regular basis the crowd can be a huge issue. But is the massive influx of people a credible problem? To anyone facing the “Commons crowd” it is, but SU Associate Director of Dining Services Tony Cerulli thinks otherwise.
